Jack's Pals is named after my own dog, Jack.

Jack is a fox terrier: energetic, hilarious, and honestly the best thing that's happened to me. But there's one thing I can't always give him: my presence. Between work and everyday life, I can't take him everywhere, and every time I leave, he lets me know exactly how he feels about it. Pacing, whining, waiting by the door for hours.

I tried everything: crate training, calming treats, background noise, you name it. Nothing really stuck.

Then a trainer gave me one piece of advice: leave something with your scent on it. It sounded almost too simple, but I tried it, and for the first time, Jack actually settled down.

That one tip changed everything for us, and it got me thinking: if this worked for my dog, it could work for so many others going through the same thing. So I set out to build something designed around that exact idea, a comfort companion made to carry your scent and give anxious dogs something familiar to hold onto while you're away.

Scent Pal is the result. It's not a toy, and it's not a treat, it's a small piece of comfort for the dogs who miss us the most.
