What is Scent Pal?
Only your dog's new favourite cuddle buddy! 🐾 Scent Pal is a soft, comforting plush with a hidden pouch designed to hold something that smells like you. It gives your pup a familiar scent to snuggle up with when you're away, offering a little reminder of home.
Why does it work?
Dogs experience the world through their noses, and familiar scents can be incredibly reassuring. Your scent is associated with you, your home, and the moments your pup feels safe. By keeping that familiar smell close, Scent Pal may help your dog feel more comfortable when you're apart.
What should I put inside?
We recommend a clean, recently worn sock! 🧦 Socks are particularly good at retaining your natural scent because they're worn close to the skin throughout the day. You can also use a small piece of worn clothing. Make sure it's securely tucked inside the pouch and inaccessible to your dog.
Will Scent Pal cure separation anxiety?
We wish it were that simple! 💙 Every dog is different, and separation anxiety doesn't have a one-size-fits-all solution. Scent Pal isn't a cure or a replacement for behavioural training, but it can be a comforting addition to your pup's routine by keeping a familiar scent nearby. Always supervise initial use, especially if your dog tends to chew or destroy toys.
